Light coloured leather needs extra care and protection. One of the most common problems associated with light coloured leathers is dye transfer. Regular protection products can’t  adequately protect leather from dye transfer, and regular cleaning products can’t remove it. Leather Barrier provides superb protection, stopping the vast majority of dye transfer. Any transfer that does occur is easily removed with Colour Transfer Remover. Note: this product is only suitable for light coloured leather, do not use on dark coloured leather.

Dye Transfer Cleaner removes tough pigment and dye-based stains such as dye and print transfer. Dye Transfer Cleaner uses the latest advancements in cleaning technology to gently draw stains to the surface of the leather, where they can be easily removed . This ensures that Dye Transfer Cleaner is not only highly effective on stains, but it is also gentle on leather.
Dwell time: In many cases dye transfer will wipe straight off with Dye Transfer Cleaner, but for more sever cases the product can be left to dwell for up to an hour (do not allow the product to dry on the leather).

The secret to long lasting leather is regular cleaning. Leather Soft Cleaner is the perfect leather cleaner: it is mild, water-based and pH neutral. Soft Cleaner is tough enough to remove soiling and water-based stains, but gentle enough to be used regularly on leather furniture.
Recommended frequency of use:Every 3-4 months for domestic furniture and every 30 days for commercial furniture.

Leather Barrier is designed to protect light coloured leather and vinyl from dye and print transfer. Nothing can provide 100% protection against dye transfer, but Leather Barrier will prevent the vast majority of transfer stains and make any that do occur easier to remove. Leather Barrier provides some protection against water, oil and alcohol-based stains, but for added protection we recommend applying Leather protection Cream before applying Leather Barrier.
